Departure for your 2-day Delphi-Meteora tour.
Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, arrive in Delphi and visit the Archaeological Site. After the visit depart for Kalambaka, passing through picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Meteora-Athens.
Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument), arrive in Athens early in the evening.

The cosmopolitan island of Corfu is probably the most well known island of the Ionian.
With its Venetian forts and neo-classical housing, the old town of Corfu was inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List as a fortified Mediterranean port town of high integrity and authenticity. The heart of the town, built on the side of a hill, contains a labyrinth of small alleyways criss-crossing larger, bustling streets abound with typical old craftsmen’s workshops.

The casino of Corfu is in Achelleion.

Day 5. Corfu-Kefallonia

A day boat trip to Ithaka of Ulysses (Odysseus) is indicated to be included in order to visit one more island of classical Greece.

Melissani Cave is home to a vast sea water lake, which is famous for its intense blue colour.

Day 8. Zakynthos
Zákynthos (Zante) is a verdant island endowed with fertile valleys and a temperate climate. Its landscape diversity has resulted in different types of beaches: there are sandy beaches in secluded coves where the tranquil waters are deep blue on the island’s southeastern part; yet, if rugged cliffs and an interesting underwater world are to your liking, try the western part of the island.

Day 3. Kalambaka-Thessaloniki
Visit Meteora, the ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Depart from Kalambaka, drive through the plain of Thessaly and the valley of Tempi, arrive and visit the Archaeological Park of Dion. Admire Mount Olympos, the highest mountain in Greece and home of the 12 Gods of Mythology. After the visit depart for Thessaloniki,the second largest and the most vibrant city in Greece. Day 4. Depart in the morning for the town of Kastoria, renown center of the fur industry and also famous for its Lake and its 75 Byzantine churches. After Kastoria continue driving to the picturesque town of Edessa. Here you can see the town’s famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then, proceed to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century b.C. villas, in situ as well as in the local Museum. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Thessaloniki
See the city that throughout the era of the Byzantine Empire. Visit unique monuments, churches as well as the Museum of Byzantine Culture. Rest of the day free, to enjoy time in the lively center of the city. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Thessaloniki-Athens
Drive to Vergina, to live the experience of a visit to the unique Museum, created in the Great Tumulus covering the royal tombs of Macedonia. See the astonishing findings from the tomb of King Philip II, Alexander’s father, and feel the thrill of the greatest discovery of the 20th century.
