Bouzoukia
Greek pop blends old - fashioned bouzouki music with Vegas - style showmanship. Big, shiny hair and tiny, sparkling costumes are de rigueur for singers and spectators alike. The music, and the somewhat glitzy clubs that play it, are called bouzoukia after the main instrument involved. For the audience, the plate - smashing of legent has been replaced with table - top dancing and flower - throwing (Plate - smashing can be arranged on request).
Rembetika
The rembetika music largely unknown is a special sort of traditional greek music, of the almost last hundrent years, that it stiil alive and heard with great pleasure by older and young. It is played with bouzouki, baglama and guitar.
